Appleseed Trust was a non-profit organization focused on entrepreneurial education, loans and resources to the Greater Syracuse small business community. Appleseed operated in a challenging environment of limited funding, staffing and survived through hard work and determination. Ultimately, the non-profit dissolved due lack of funding from government sources. As the Treasurer I helped with required financial reporting to the City of Syracuse and to the United States Department of Agriculture, Rural Development.
